On 9 and 10 September, the potato and sugar beet sectors came together at PotatoEurope and SugarBeet Expo 2026 in Springe, near Hanover. We were there too, taking the opportunity to follow developments in two important arable crops at first hand.
Connecting the growing season
A growing season involves a long sequence of decisions and activities. What you see during a field visit can affect planning, the next recommendation and the work that follows. Observations and agreements need to remain connected to the right crop.
iCrop is designed to support that overview. From a photograph and a field observation to a recommendation and its follow-up actions, information stays connected to the grower and field.
Assess technology through everyday practice
An event dedicated to potatoes and sugar beet brings crop expertise, machinery and practical operations together. For us, being there is valuable. It helps us keep asking the same question as we develop iCrop: how does this help an agronomist or crop production business in their daily work?
Our photograph at the welcome sign is a reminder of that visit. Away from the screen, we like to stay close to the crops and the people working with them.
Would you like a stronger connection between field information, crop advice and work activities? We would be happy to show you how to organise this with iCrop.
