Last month we put the finishing touches on the beta version of the Dynamic Spray Planner in iCrop. A new tool that helps growers determine the optimal spray timing against downy mildew in onions.
With this version you get as a user:
These insights help onion growers not miss a risk moment and maximize their crop protection.
Development of the AI Assist has begun!
This new functionality in iCrop supports users in managing tasks and observations. Using AI, capturing information becomes easier and you can find answers faster based on previously entered data.
The AI Assist helps advisors and growers work faster, easier and more intuitively within iCrop.
We have made major improvements to working offline in iCrop in response to user feedback. This is especially useful outside the Netherlands, where internet is not always available.
The app automatically recognizes when there is no Internet connection. In that case, online functions, such as the map and product retrieval, are temporarily unavailable. However, you can continue to register tasks and observations. As soon as your phone is reconnected, all data entered is automatically sent to the system.
With this update, iCrop continues to work reliably in the field – even without the Internet.
Following feedback from users with many registered plots, we improved the map view in the app.
Plots and sensors now have new, clear icons and are automatically clustered as soon as you zoom out.
This keeps the map clear and fast, even with large numbers of plots and/or sensors.
