Built on practical experience, the KX platform supports users through microservices – small, specialized digital tools – in crop protection planning, disease risk assessment and application optimization. Users can easily set up virtual data points in their fields to monitor weather data and disease pressure, among other things. In cooperation with partners, new applications are continuously being integrated.
An example of a successful application of the platform is wine estate Andreas Holzer from Neusiedl. Through the platform, weather forecasts, disease pressure and soil conditions are combined into concrete recommendations for crop protection. Holzer confirms that this has not only increased efficiency, but also saved resources and reduced risks.
Kwizda works closely with national and international startups such as AppsforAgri from the Netherlands and Cubido from Austria. These bring together expertise in cloud technology and UX design with Kwizda’s agricultural experience. This creates an innovative ecosystem for agriculture. Their modular approach allows farmers to use exactly the solutions that fit their business.
Although digitization is central, Kwizda stresses the importance of human guidance. The company invests in consulting and training so that farmers can properly apply the tools. In this way, the company wants to ensure that technology is widely adopted, from small wine growers to large farms.
Kwizda Agro sees digitization not as an end goal, but as a means to sustainable and profitable agriculture. The company invites other innovators to build together a digital agriculture ecosystem where technology, knowledge and practice come together.
