Road Trip Perth to Tasmania

Scrapbooking pages

These are great layouts for vacation pictures. The punched puzzle pieces, the paper and the stickers all work together great. The colors in the page bring out the color in the pictures. The nice think about these pages is that they are not made specifically for a certain place and can be used with any vacation pictures or even day to day pictures. The skies the limit!

Some of our holiday pics from our last big Perth – Tasmania road trip in 2007.

Flower Page

Scrapbooking Album

This is a simple but eye catching page. Two mats are put down where the photos will go. The photos can either be the size of the mat or for a more dramatic look alittle smaller. The only embellishments on the page are simple flowers with rhinestone centers. A half circle is on the side with slits cut into it and ribbon weaved through the slits.

Jump! A Day at the Beach.

Scrapbooking Page Jump

Beach shots are always fun especially when there is action in the photos. This is a simple page that really brings out the feel of a fun day at the beach. The flowers match the color of the flowers on the swim suit. This can be done easily using the color match feature that is included in most digital scrapbooking programs. Pages can be done digitally and then you can still add embellishments or lettering to spice up the page.

Enjoying the Wildlife

Scrapbook page of april 2010 Life on White photo shoot

Wild life pictures are always fun. One great way to mix up your pages is by cutting out your subject. Here instead of using stickers or die cuts pictures of the bears were cut out as well as the people.

4th of July

4th of July Scrapbook Page 0082x

A 4th of July page doesn’t always have to be about fireworks. The colors used on this page still give the page a 4th of July feel without using fireworks or stars. The flower was made by using 3 different colored flower pieces and then arranged to make a blossoming flower. Lettering can be found in a variety of colors and is a popular way to put a title on a page.

Viva Las Vegas

Viva Las Vegas - Celebration Scrapbook Page

Las Vegas is a popular vacation spot. It is also a great place to celebrate a wedding or have your bachelorette party. This page uses some gaming stickers and sticker strips. Photo corners can have other uses besides adhering a photo to a page. The can be use as an emblishment so give the page a different look. Photo corners were used on the celebrate box. You can dress up your photo corners by using a punch that has small circles or even stars. The background on this page is very busy so inorder to make the photos stand out, the photo boxes have been matted.

Mickey Mouse / Disneyland

Mickey Mouse/Disneyland Scrapbook Page

Disney pages are very popular; it is a favorite vaction spot to take the children. There are many different Disney stickers available in craft and scrapbooking stores. A great way to capture your vacation for the children is to make up a page like this Mickey Mouse page and put it on a page in your album. You can attach photos of your children with Mickey Mouse on that page. On the page across from the photo page you can have the Disney character’s autograph. This can be done for all the Disney characters and after your trip your children will have a fun reminder of a fabulous vacation.
