Baby Boy Page

Aunty Louise and New born Rohan scrapbooking page

A very creative baby boy page. The pictures were framed with mats and then ribbon was attached before attaching it to the page. The gold lace at the bottom of the page blends in with the other colors and makes the page delicate just like a baby.

Pop’s Little Helper Page 2

Pops Little helper page 2

I like the way the colors on the page compliment and bring out the photos. It was a great idea to put the grandson on page one and grandpa on page two. They each hold the spot light on their page. The wording from page one flows nicely onto page 2. On the bottom of the page a fancy sticker border was put over the roulette paper bordering the wheel to give the impression of guages on the car. This is very creative and shows that a piece of paper can be used in different types of pages.

I like the idea of using gambling paper and just showing a quarter or half of the roulette wheel. Without looking closely you think it could be gauges from the dash. Very creative! The sticker strips on the right side of the page coordinate very well with the pictures.

Birthday Page

great Nannys Birthday page 2

This page uses heritage colors which work great for Nanny’s birthday. There are different patterens used here and they work well together. The strip at the top of the page is cut using a scalloped blade and gives the page a delicate touch. On the left side of the pictures there are two snowflake punched using paper that matches this page. This shows the versatility of the snowflake punch. It does not have to be used just for winter scenes.

Mother’s Day Page 2

Mothers Day page 2

Page 2 uses the same paper, flowers and birds as page one which make this a perfect two page spread. I like the idea of having a group photo and the the individual photos above it. The colors on this page give it a mother’s day feeling.

Mother’s Day Page 1

Mothers Day page 1

This is a beautiful page. The browns work well with the pinks. There is a lot of detail in this page. The photo is matted twice first with a solid color and then a pattern. The flowers and the bird cage go well with the overall theme of the page. The embelllishments to make the swirls give the page a delicate and feminine touch.

The Fisherman Page 2

The Fisherman page 2

This page uses the same type of layout as page one which makes these two pages perfect for a two page spread. This page could also be used on its own if you don’t have enugh pictures for a two page spread. The colors compliment the pictures prefectly.

The Fisherman Page 1

The Fisherman page 1

Using red, white and blue in this picture brings out the colors in the boy’s shirt. Different patterns are used here which work together nicely. The top strip is cut using a scallop ripping tool which gives it jagged edges. A circle punch is used to make all the circles that overlap on the top strip. This is a versatile page which can be used for other events by changing the words on the side.

Family Memories Page 1

Family Memories page 1

This is a great page to display old black and white photos. On this page there is hand dyed lace and crimped paper circles. This shows you can use bits and pieces you have around the house to make your page work. Remember all your materials should be acid free to preserve your photos.

Cousins

Cousins Scrapbooking Page

A simple flower rubber stamp was used on this page to show four different techniques on the same page. The red used for matting the photo and the lettering blends beautifully with the colored flowers.
